With my website I would like to bring you closer to my work as a sculptor and painter. The sculptures and paintings represent the examination of people and the nature of structures and objects that I encounter in nature and on my travels. The collected impressions and finds are documented in a variety of ways, mostly through photographs or self-made sketches. In search of the artistic representation, I first deal with my own visual perception. What do I see? How can something be represented? Only then do I decide whether my idea can be realized in a sculpture or whether I would rather use a brush and canvas.
